Password and email address
Reset a forgotten password, change your password, move your account to a new email address, and keep it secure.
Forgot your password
- Step 1On the sign-in page, select Forgot password?, or go to Reset your password.
- Step 2Enter your email and select Send reset link.
- Step 3Open the link in the email within an hour, choose a new password and select Save new password. Then sign in with it.
A reset link works once. Resetting your password signs you out everywhere.
Change your password
Open Account. Under Password, enter your current password and a new one, then select Change password. Passwords need at least 10 characters, cannot be a common password, and cannot be built from your email. Your other sessions are signed out, and we email you that it changed.
Change your email address
- Step 1Open Account and select Change email.
- Step 2Enter the new email and your current password, and select Send the link.
- Step 3Open the link we send to the new address within 24 hours.
We also tell your current address. Your email changes only when you open the link, and your other sessions are then signed out. Changed your mind? Select Keep my current email.
Keep your account safe
Use a password you do not use anywhere else. If you think someone else has used your account, reset or change your password straight away, which signs out every other session, and contact us.
