Set up payouts for bookings
Connect a Stripe account so customers' cards are held when they ask to book and charged when you accept.
Customers pay into your own Stripe account. Until payouts are set up, customers can still ask to book and you arrange payment with them directly.
Set up payouts
- Step 1Open Payouts in your workspace.
- Step 2Select Set up payouts with Stripe and give Stripe your business details and the bank account payouts go to.
- Step 3Come back to Holuway. The status shows Ready to take payments once Stripe has what it needs.

What changes for your customers
- A customer's card is held when they ask to book, and the request reaches you once it is.
- Accepting charges the card; declining or letting the request lapse releases it.
- If a customer cancels, they are refunded what your cancellation policy gives. If you cancel, they are refunded in full.
Holuway's commission on Spaces bookings is shown on the Payouts page. It is taken from bookings paid by card only, and given back in the same share when you refund.
